PROFILE
FILMET company established in 1963 and was formerly know as
capacitors' manufacturer.
Later, in 1971, FILMET abandoned producing capacitors to
start the new activity of high vacuum metallization of technical films.
Until 1988 we were only present in the Italian market: in
the same year we started to renew the company's structure as well as the production activities.
By the end of 1990 the realisation of the new plant in
L'Aquila (Abruzzo) was completed. This investment allowed us to increase the production and
improve the metallized films' quality level.
FILMET has taken as a challenge the technological evolution
of the metallized films with the continuos renewal and updating of its machinery.
At the present time FILMET can offer a wide range of
metallized polypropylene and polyester film for application in electrical and electronic
capacitors' production.
FILMET only uses top quality materials and ensure to the
customers mechanical and electrical high performances with excellent thermal and chemical
qualities.
During these year we have followed an innovative approach to
production management, we have developed quality control and we reached price competitiveness,
but more than this we rely on our existing and new customer to reach long lasting success.
All of these characteristics have as a target, the
technological progress of FILMET production in order to ensure to the Customers the top quality
of metallized film.
FILMET company, starting from June '96, is certified with
UNI EN ISO 9002.
